- Prepare 1/2 cup of shortening.
- It's 1/2 cup of butter/margarine.
- You need 5 cup of icing sugar.
- You need 1 of food colouring.
- You need 2 tsp of vanilla.
- You need 1/4 cup of cold cream.
Buttercream Icing instructions
- put bowl in fridge or freezer.
- mix marg/shortening until creamed.
- add vanilla.
- add alternatively,cold cream & icing sugar.
- mix till well blended or whip.
- separate into smaller bowls then add different colour food colouring(using too much will change icing consistency).
- For thinner icing use less icing sugar, thicker use more.
